Palestine. Palestine. A body is found trapped at a checkpoint, an essential mechanism of the Israeli occupation. The body is pierced by structural, physical, aggressive and arbitrary violence that prevents it from moving freely and attacks its existence.

Samira Badran is a Palestinian visual artist who was born in Libya in 1954. She studied at the Fine Arts Academy in Cairo and Florence. Her work has been exhibited in art galleries internationally and she regularly works at the Ramallah International Academy of Art. She lives and works in Barcelona. Memory Of The Land is her first short film.
