Testimonies
Sexist violence against women is not an isolated phenomenon: it flows from the logic of the patriarchal system and neoliberalism. In Palestine, it also reflects the Israeli occupation. In this section, several Palestinian women open the doors to their experiences and share their life stories, which tell us about the violence they experienced, but also about their resilience and ability to overcome. Each of them shares a text explaining her experience and a photograph taken by herself. Each testimony is also accompanied by an audio file with the text read in Arabic and subtitled in Spanish.
Through their testimonies, we build sisterhood and empower ourselves to face the sexist violence against women that crosses our lives.
